DENVER – A champion of middle class families and the first woman to be elected Governor and U.S. Senator, the indomitable Senator Jeanne Shaheen from New Hampshire will be our featured speaker at our 77th Annual Jefferson- Jackson (JJ) Day dinner on March 6, 2010.

"We are so excited to have the Senator joining us in celebrating 77 years of victories here in Colorado," stated Colorado Democratic Party Chair Pat Waak. "Coloradans attending the JJ will find her to be an engaging and lively speaker full of great stories. We are happy to welcome her to our beautiful Centennial state."

Senator Shaheen is a leader on renewable energy policy and creating clean energy jobs and sits on the U.S. Senate committees on Energy & Natural Resources, Foreign Relations and Small Business & Entrepreneurship.
