Colorado Democrats Congratulate Manny Rutinel on Winning Democratic Nomination for CD-8

DENVER — The Colorado Democratic Party congratulates State Representative Manny Rutinel on winning the Democratic nomination in Colorado’s 8th Congressional District and thanks Shannon Bird for her spirited campaign and commitment to Colorado.

CD-8 is one of the most competitive districts in the country, and Rutinel enters the general election ready to unseat Republican incumbent Gabe Evans, lower costs, protect Coloradans’ freedoms, and fight for working families. Gabe Evans can be defined by his support for pardoning January 6 insurrectionists who attacked police officers, supporting Trump’s giveaways to billionaires that working people are paying for, and being a rubber stamp vote for the MAGA agenda.
