What the heck is relational organizing?!
For too long, we’ve asked supporters of our Party and our candidates to come to us to organize. Think coming to a library, an office, or a coffee shop to pick up a packet of doors a few weeks before an election. A Stronger Colorado flips the script and now we’ll be coming to you.
At its core, it’s just reaching out to your people — the folks you already know — and helping them plug into what’s happening, why it matters, and how they can be part of it. While lit-dropping, canvassing, and phone banks will always have a place in our campaigns, we’re learning that what can often matter most is talking to the people who personally trust you as a friend and a leader.
It’s sharing posts, articles, memes, voice notes, whatever works for your crew, and actually listening to what they care about and responding. Because whether or not your friends are doom-scrolling Twitter (or X, ugh), they still care about their rights, their rent, their families, their futures, and yes — the vibes.
The ultimate goal here is to get our friends to vote. We’re trying to keep this democracy group project alive a little longer, okay? But more than that, it’s about:
