DENVER — The Colorado Democratic Party congratulates U.S. Rep. Joe Neguse on his reelection in Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District.
Neguse has made protecting public lands and helping communities prepare for wildfires central to his work in Congress. He has also fought political corruption and defended democratic institutions, including serving as an impeachment prosecutor. The son of refugees, Neguse has spoken about his family’s experience as the reason he wants more people to have a fair chance at the opportunities this country offered him.
“Congressman Neguse gives people reason to have faith in public service,” said Colorado Democratic Party Chair Shad Murib. “He has defended our democracy while doing the work Colorado communities count on, from protecting public lands to securing resources for wildfire preparedness. He understands that both responsibilities matter. We’re proud to celebrate his reelection and grateful that Colorado will continue to benefit from his leadership in Congress.”
