Victor’s Marx-isms Day 6: “Always got enough in me to kill a man.”

DENVER – Following the launch of “Con or Marx-ism?” last week, the Colorado Democratic Party is continuing to spotlight Republican nominee Victor Marx’s top Marx-isms to remind Colorado voters just how extreme and unfit he is to lead Colorado.

Play Con or Marx-ism? here.

Victor’s Marx-ism Day 6: “Always got enough in me to kill a man.”

Marx’s campaign has never been about the issues – he’s repeatedly made his run for governor more about who Marx has or has not fought, threatened, harmed or even potentially killed. In one speech, Marx said, he told his daughter he could kill a man even if he was dying of Covid:

“But trust me, I don't care. I don't care if I'm dying. Always got enough in me to kill a man. And I said, you will never have to worry about that. And I made. Look at my eyes. I go, do you believe me?”

In the final days of the campaign, Marx has faced even more unsettling allegations of violence, around whether the domestic incidents he admitted to with his wife and child was abuse.

Marx shocked the nation earlier in the year when his strange story about being forced to kill a man when he was a child went viral. He was then pressed by a reporter about whether that was the only person he had killed, including as an adult. Marx paused for ten seconds, smiled and said “Does it matter?” (It does.)
